As well as our pre-formulated rations, we offer a bespoke feed service where our Nutritionist can design a feed plan around an individual farms needs and expectations. This allows us to react quickly to changing circumstances and ensures your feed is right for you.
We can help and support you by specifically designing a ‘feed for every need’ whether you are hoping to enhance yield, reproductive performance, improve milk quality, reduce the risk of acidosis, increase forage intake or reduce waste.

Robotic and Computerised Feeding Systems
Optimising feed management is a profitable investment that can improve herd production and health while reducing environmental impact. Cows are expected to produce increasingly high volumes of milk and feeding each cow to her individual needs will keep her in optimum health and allow her to produce to her full potential.
To make robotic feeding systems work effectively requires sustained input beyond the initial set-up service provided by the manufacturer. At Hutchinsons Feeds we have developed an approach that we call Total Robot Management (TRM) that aims to get the best from robot systems. We understand that nutrition needs to be managed to optimise cow production, the robot needs to be managed to optimise daily milk production and the cows need to be managed to optimise health and fertility.
